Athletes & families who want to play a competitive baseball league during the summer and travel throughout the state beyond REC baseball. You do not have to live in the DCE school district to play Everest baseball.

All athletes interested in playing travel ball must “try-out” and meet requirements such as related fees, extra time commitments, play REC baseball, have appropriate skills and competitive interest. Evaluations are part of the overall process in choosing teams for Spring of 2025. Players must choose which team they are being evaluated for and at which commitment level.

Green Team- more competitive, travel team, typically 9-12 members, 6-8 tournaments

Silver Team- travel team, 3-4 tournaments

Note: Teams will be determined by skill level, interest, commitment, and coaching availability.

2025 fees were $500 for Green and $300 for Silver. These fees included:

• 1 team jersey
• 1 hat
• Indoor turf practice time
• Tournament entry fees

Tournament costs vary year to year, so we reevaluate fees each October as 2026 tournaments begin to post. Final pricing will be shared later this fall.

Fall evaluations play a key role in preparing for the upcoming season:

• Tentative teams are formed to coordinate off-season workouts
• Players are evaluated while skills are sharp from summer play
• Outdoor evaluations are preferred over indoor winter sessions
• Tournament registration opens in January, and teams must be ready
• Uniforms are ordered in February to ensure timely spring delivery
• Head coach applicants help evaluate players and plan rosters
• New athletes moving into the area are always welcome
