MEET OUR 2027 COACHES
Jason Ladwig - 12U Silver Coach
As a baller myself, and a baseball coach for the past six years, I’ve loved helping players get the fundamentals down while actually having fun out there. For me, it's all about building great sportsmanship, leadership, and solid character that sticks with them long after the game ends. More than anything, I'm just passionate about teaching kids how to truly play and enjoy the game of baseball.
Jimmy Olafson - President and 11U Green Coach
I always had a passion for sports and I was lucky enough to turn it into my career and my family's mission. Sarah and I have been dedicated to everything Everest Baseball since 2004. I played college baseball at UWSP, managed and played with the adult wood bat team the Everest Merchants, and coached high school baseball at Everest for the last 23 years. This is the second time through youth travel baseball for our family and I could not be more excited for the future of Everest baseball. (That's me with Clayton Kershaw)
Cody Verg - 8U Silver Coach
My name is Cody Verg. I have been coaching baseball in the Everest Rec program for the last 5 years. I’m looking forward to coaching and developing these young athletes. When I’m not on the field you can catch me watching sports, golfing and hunting. Let’s Go Everest!
