DCEYB Hitting Camp

The DCE Hitting Camp focuses on teaching and refining the fundamentals of hitting through hands-on instruction and structured drills. Players work directly with DC Everest Varsity Baseball coaches and guest instructors in a positive, development-first environment. $75 covers three sessions.

Ages

Players in Grades 2–8 are eligible to participate.

Players will be placed into two groups, grades 2-5 and grades 6-8.

When

Typically runs in November, held on three consecutive Mondays (November 3, 10, and 17 for the 2025 session).

Grades 2–5: 6:15–7:30 PM

Grades 6–8: 7:30–8:45 PM

What to Bring

Players should bring a bat, helmet, water bottle, and athletic shoes or molded cleats (no metal cleats).

What should my player wear?

Athletic clothing and shoes or molded cleats are recommended. Metal cleats are not allowed indoors.

Can players from outside DC Everest participate?

Yes! The camp is open to all area players—no residency requirement.

Hands-on instruction to learn and improve the fundamentals of hitting. Open to all players (not limited to DCEYB). Each session is limited; a wait list will be established when capacity is reached. Led by DCE Varsity Baseball coaches and guest instructors at Greenheck Turner Community Center.
